Objets d’Art

Museum Exhibition Interpretive

Objets d’Art is an exhibition concept drawing on a collection of artworks at The Walters Art Museum in Baltimore, exploring the role of women as a subject matter in Western painting. I designed an exhibition pamphelet that folds out into a poster, as well as promotional posters and an interactive companion to the exhibit.

So often the female image becomes an artist’s symbol for vice or virtue, an ideal of beauty, or a creature of nature. Through my designed pieces and written copy, I seek to reframe the way viewers regard women in art.
